We’re Hiring: Controls & Electrical Manager

Are you an experienced Controls & Electrical professional ready to take ownership of projects and lead from the front? We’re looking for a proactive and driven Controls & Electrical Manager to join our engineering team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-impact projects across multiple industries.

The Role

You’ll lead all controls and electrical aspects across a diverse project portfolio, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical water systems and associated equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of control systems (FDS, SDS, HDS, FAT, SAT)
• Oversee electrical design outputs (schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts)
• Manage PLC, HMI, and SCADA software development
• Support tenders, quotations, and subcontractor engagement
• Attend and contribute to technical meetings
• Assist with commissioning activities (FAT/SAT)
• Conduct site surveys and manage electrical work scopes
• Take full technical and commercial responsibility for C&I elements
• Manage cost control and define project scope

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in electrical engineering
• Experience with Siemens PLCs (advantageous)
• Knowledge of BS 7671 / IEE regulations
• Experience with CAD and electrical design tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with leadership capability
