Head of Continuous Improvement – Bracknell – Full time perm – Financial services industry experience needed
We are working with a business looking to hire a Head of Continuous Improvement to build and lead a CI function from scratch.
This is a hands‑on role focused on improving processes, reducing inefficiencies, and embedding a continuous improvement mindset across the organisation starting with finance and scaling wider.
Role Responsibilities
- Set up and lead the Continuous Improvement function
- Identify and eliminate manual processes, duplication, and inefficiencies
- Conduct process and value chain analysis (value vs control vs waste)
- Build and deliver a pipeline of improvement initiatives
- Work closely with SMEs to map processes, analyse workflows, and implement improvements
- Roll out and lead a hub & spoke CI model across the business
- Act as the central CI expert, advocate, and coach
- Enable teams to deliver CI within their own functions
- Drive a continuous improvement culture across multiple departments
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven background in Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence
- Experience within financial services (preferred but not essential)
- Strong experience in process mapping and value chain analysis
- Practical knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience working closely with SMEs and extracting process knowledge
