Contract Duration: 5-6 Weeks

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Support Manager to support the commissioning phase of the Holcim Tilbury Mill build. This is a short-term role requiring a hands‑on professional with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, capable of coordinating activities, resolving issues, producing reports and ensuring smooth commissioning operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate commissioning activities across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Act as a key point of contact between site teams and project stakeholders
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues in real-time
  • Monitor commissioning progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Produce clear, accurate reports on progress, issues, and resolutions
  • Assist in system checks, testing, and validation processes
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Proven experience supporting commissioning activities on industrial or construction projects
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think quickly under pressure
  • Competent in producing detailed and professional reports and documentation
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience on heavy industrial, cement, or manufacturing projects
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes in large‑scale plant builds
  • Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications
