An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sulis Hospital, we are looking for a Supply Chain Supervisor to become the key contact point for operational and finance staff to ensure accurate recording of our assets. The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Supply Chain team.The Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Supply Chain team ensuring there is no interruption to Sulis business activity because of stock shortage. They will ensure that all issues are appropriately escalated daily to the Supply Chain and Procurement Lead and SMT as appropriate.

Main duties of the job

The Supply Chain Supervisor will work with colleagues in the Finance and Business Intelligence teams to ensure that savings are identified, value for money is at the forefront of purchasing and reporting of stock levels and stock movement within accounts is accurate.

Job responsibilities

Full time hours PERM – On-SiteIf you have knowledge of stock control systems and procedures and have had previous supervisory/line management experience, then we would like to hear from you.Applications will be assessed and responded to as they are received. Qualifications

  • Qualifications,
  • Previous Knowledge and Experience
  • Educated to at least GCSE level
  • Proven computer and systems literacy
  • Previous administration experience
  • Knowledge of stock control systems and procedures
  • Working to targets and deadlines
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to pursue further learning and development of a recognised Supply Chain qualification.
