Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Complex Systems

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager.

The company design, manufacture and install bespoke, turnkey medium to heavy engineering projects. They have an excellent and very diverse order book of projects working across a number of sectors including major projects and the nuclear sector.

This role will be a key position within the engineering team, to deliver on projects through their full lifecycle from tender to completion.

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing large scale, complex engineering projects
• Providing technical expertise to estimates and tenders
• Managing contracts, raising variations and claims
• Acting as customer point of contact
• Organising and attending client review meetings
• Managing all stages of projects including design, installation and commissioning

The Mechanical Project Manager will need:

• A technical engineering background
• Experience of managing large, complex, mechanical projects
• Experience of electrical and controls systems
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of working in a technical, engineering project management role
