What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and enhance secure, multi‑environment infrastructure across virtualised and cloud platforms.
- Support and improve “secure by design” capabilities across internal systems and client projects.
- Manage and support cloud‑based services, including SaaS and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Carry out infrastructure changes through controlled processes.
- Monitor systems, triage alerts, and respond to incidents to ensure service continuity.
- Maintain patching, security compliance, and system health across platforms.
- Identify recurring issues and implement improvements to boost performance and stability.
- Collaborate with project teams and advise on infrastructure best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Skills Needed
- Strong experience with Windows Server (2016+) and Linux environments (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Hands‑on experience with VMware and virtualised infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Azure and cloud‑based environments.
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift and containerised platforms.
- Solid networking fundamentals.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Ansible).
- Understanding of SSO concepts and secure environments.
- Experience with endpoint provisioning, patching, and system hardening.
- Strong incident management and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes administration experience.
- VMware vSphere, vCenter, or VCF knowledge.
- Microsoft 365 / Azure administration experience.
- Exposure to DevSecOps tooling.
- Familiarity with tools such as Elastic, Nessus, Terraform, or Vault.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
