In this role, you’ll take ownership of agile ceremonies, drive broader project management initiatives, and play a key part in shaping and optimizing team operations.You’ll be joining a growing team of 12 talented professionals as we embark on an ambitious, multi-year modernization journey for a bespoke, end-to-end solution for online quoting, binding, and formal documentation issuance. The platform also provides powerful analytics capabilities to support underwriting, portfolio analysis, and product performance insights.**The day to day:*** Translate business strategy into actionable project roadmaps and delivery plans.* Manage and align dependencies across different project work streams.* Identify and eliminate blockers that hinder teams from achieving their sprint and project objectives.* Ensure consistent delivery of high quality products that meet business expectations.* Implement and maintain agile metrics and reporting to track project progress and team performance.* Monitor project budgets and track realisation of benefits.* Play an active role in backlog management (definition and prioritisation).* Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.* Lead on our agile ceremonies.* Coach teams in agile best practices and help mature their capabilities.* Champion a culture of continuous improvement across teams and processes.* Build strong relationships with our stakeholders and deliver our monthly Steering Committee* **Foster effective c**ollaboration and communication across all Teams and Departments.* Ensure adherence to group policies & standards and devise and embed compliant procedures.* Collaborate with external partners and vendors to manage project interfaces and dependencies.* Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members to ensure a smooth integration and appropriate Team capacity.* Remain flexible and proactively support any additional initiatives as needed.**About you:*** Extensive experience as a Project Manager in agile software development.* Certified in agile project management.* Skilled in Azure DevOps.* Strong leadership, communication and people skills.* Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities.* Strong problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.* Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including preparing and presenting comprehensive Steering Committee packs.* Adaptable and exhibits a proactive, hands-on approach across diverse tasks and responsibilities.* Able to think strategically and to manage change appropriately.* Previous experience introducing and coaching agile methodology is advantageous.* Knowledge of insurance and policy administration systems is advantageous**The rewards:*** A negotiable basic salary and all the normal benefits you’d expect (Holiday, company pension etc.)* A collaborative, open and honest environment that is designed to deliver the best outcomes to our clients and staff* A flexible working methodology to enable you to be where you need to be, if you don’t need to be in an office then don’t, if you want to be in an office your welcome to use one.* An environment built around supporting and developing our staff with funding available for relevant professional qualifications.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
