Job Title: Software Engineer

Our client are a global semiconductor company.The client require candidates to work on-site full time and can’t provide sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a software and simulation engineer with experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
• The role will be working in the design team alongside our device design experts using a range of tools and techniques.
• This role will span from model building through full simulation automation and optimization.
• The role will require extensive knowledge of a range of machine learning techniques including multi‑parameter optimization and inverse design.
• Automation of test data analysis and correlation to design variants is also necessary to re‑calibrate and refine the models.

Key Requirements

• A PhD in Computing Science, Physics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Deep knowledge and implementation of machine learning with examples of collaborative working.
• Exceptional skills in data analysis, along with outstanding presentation and communication abilities. Report writing enabling clear and impactful dissemination of complex information.
• Experienced in Python or similar programming languages for efficient simulation, automation and data analysis.
• Ability to build, document and deploy modelling and simulation tools.
