An established M&E contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Contracts Manager to take ownership of a major refurbishment of an existing energy centre on a prestigious country estate. This is an urgent requirement following a secured project, offering the opportunity to step into a live scheme and lead from the front. The business delivers full mechanical, electrical and public health services across complex projects, with a strong reputation across commercial, healthcare and high‑end environments.
The Project
A large‑scale refurbishment of an energy centre, including:
- HV/LV distribution upgrades
- Switchgear and generator installation
- Small power and lighting works
- Full coordination within a live estate environment
The Role
You’ll be responsible for running the electrical package from site, including:
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and programme delivery
- Overseeing installation quality, H&S and compliance
- Coordinating with the wider project team and stakeholders
- Managing procurement, technical submissions and progress reporting
- Driving the project through to successful completion
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Electrical PM or Contracts Manager
- Strong background in HV/LV infrastructure, switchgear and generators
- Experience delivering refurbishment or infrastructure‑led projects
- Ability to take full ownership of a project on site
- Strong communication and coordination skills
