This is a hands‑on role in a small company, where you will take ownership of tasks and work independently without a large support team. You will be responsible for reviewing engineering documents, liaising with vendors, tracking progress, and supporting project delivery.

The role suits someone with 2-5 years’ engineering experience who is proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks across both technical and project activities.

The Project Engineer role will involve:

  • Reviewing engineering documents, providing comments, and returning to vendors
  • Coordinating and collating multidisciplinary comments for vendor submissions
  • Liaising with vendors on technical queries and clarifications
  • Monitoring vendor progress and supporting expediting activities
  • Reviewing quality documentation, including ITPs and inspection records
  • Supporting interface coordination across multiple equipment packages
  • Liaising with classification bodies where required
  • Preparing and maintaining progress reports and tracking deliverables
  • Supporting logistics and delivery coordination of equipment packages
  • Witnessing or attending Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

The Project Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, structural or similar)
  • Experience reviewing and marking up engineering documents and drawings
  • Experience liaising with vendors and handling technical queries
  • Understanding of project expediting and progress tracking
  • Familiarity with quality documentation (ITPs, inspection records)
  • Exposure to oil & gas, offshore, or petrochemical projects (FPSO experience beneficial)
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working in a small team environment
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Happy to consider an experienced candidate if it meets rate expectations.

If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV, along with your availability and hourly rate expectations
