A highly reputable and fast-growing Cardiff-based firm is seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor to join its dynamic team. This is a standout opportunity to work on high-value, deal-driven corporate transactions within a genuinely collaborative, multi-disciplinary advisory environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic corporate advice across a broad portfolio of transactional matters, including:

- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
t
Business sales and disposals
t
Management buy-outs (MBOs) / buy-ins (MBIs)
t
Investment raises and exits
t
Corporate restructures
t
Shareholder and share-purchase agreements
t
Share-option schemes and joint ventures Cross-border transactions
Working as part of a “one-team” advisory model, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate finance, tax, communications, and accounting to deliver seamless, commercially focused solutions to clients.
What you’ll be doing
- t
- Leading and managing corporate transactions from initial instruction through to completion
t
Handling due diligence, deal structuring, and legal completion processes
t
Drafting and negotiating complex corporate documentation with minimal supervision
t
Acting as a trusted advisor, translating legal risk into practical commercial advice
t
Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to client pitches and proposals
t
Managing multiple live transactions in a fast-paced, high-quality deal environment
t
Supporting senior leadership with proactive project coordination and progress updates
What we’re looking for
- t
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), 2–6+ PQE with strong corporate experience
t
Proven track record in M&A, business sales, shareholder agreements, restructures, and due diligence
t
Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex corporate documentation
t
Commercially astute, client-focused, and confident working with business owners and stakeholders
t
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple transactions and tight deadlines
t
Comfortable working independently while thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
