We are looking for a freelance Project Manager who is able to cover two projects within the UK, with the first project in Devon and the second one in Saltcoats. The first project is due to commence on the 13th of April, with the second project due to commence in May.
The client does have a third project due to start then in September, so they have a good pipeline of work coming up in the UK, requiring a solid setup in the UK as there will be a continual flow of projects.
The works contain all aspects of building and project management, from drainage to concrete, white‑wall paneling, roofing, scaffolding, cladding, M&E, lift and shift, logistics, equipment installation—all for large industrial projects.
Ideally we are looking for a person with a civil engineering background, perhaps one who began as a civil engineer and has ten or more years of experience. Someone smart, hardworking, client‑oriented, capable of multitasking, flexible, and performing well under pressure. Safety is a top priority, and the candidate will be fully responsible for maintaining our sites to standard.
Some of the works are small but will be fast‑passed and need to be well organized. For the right person there is a great opportunity to progress within the client’s organization. Long‑term, the client is looking to set up a small team in the UK that will continually manage these works.
Rates are open to negotiation depending on experience, with accommodation and travel to Devon also covered.
