As a Supply Chain Fulfilment Specialist, you will act as a focal point for internal communication, partnering with Operations, Commercial, and Finance to ensure timely updates.
Handling customer interactions, including calls and visits, will be a key part of your responsibilities, collaborating seamlessly across teams to address customer needs.
You will work closely with Production Planning, Material Planning, and Procurement to prioritise business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
Working cross-functionally, you will help devise innovative commercial solutions, maintain competitiveness in the market, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role will also involve undertaking supplier visits and supporting other members of the team.
To be successful in this role, you should bring experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management. Strong analytical capability for effective risk management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential, along with the ability to recognise urgency. Experience in process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives is also highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities
- Represent Supply Chain in daily internal Operations and site meetings to discuss critical business needs
- Act as the first point of contact for the Supply Chain function with other business areas
- Expedite urgent demands with suppliers and internal stakeholders where required
- Support inventory optimisation initiatives
- Make Purchase Order amendments in line with the Authority Matrix
- Manage allocated suppliers’ order books to ensure on-time delivery of purchased parts
- Maintain accurate supplier delivery commitments within the ERP system
- Ensure purchasing master data is up to date for assigned suppliers
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve issues impacting purchased parts
- Resolve invoice queries with the Accounts Payable team
- Undertake supplier site visits as required to support engagement and orderbook management
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with business policies and procedures, suggesting continuous improvements where appropriate
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical trading standards, and customer flow-down requirements
- Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs
Educational Background
- 3+ years of transactional experience in a Supply Chain role
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Excellent negotiation and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with urgency and prioritise effectively
- Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver creative solutions
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Strong analytical skills, including total cost of acquisition
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (Visual preferred but not essential)
- Self-motivated and confident in decision-making within approval guidelines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
