An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our Urgent and Unscheduled Care Programme within NHS Forth Valley. This programme supports high‑priority improvement work aimed at enhancing patient flow, access, safety, and the overall quality of urgent and unscheduled care services across our system.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the day‑to‑day coordination, management, and delivery of programme projects. This role involves working across multidisciplinary teams and services to drive improvements that directly impact patient experience and operational performance.

This is a high‑profile area of work that requires passionate and experienced individuals confident to lead and support improvement in a complex system. The post holder will manage a varied and fast‑paced workload and must ensure the provision of a high‑quality, comprehensive and timely project management service. There will be opportunities for tailored training and development, aligned to individual needs and programme requirements.

You must be able to demonstrate strong partnership working, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and well‑developed organisational abilities. Previous experience leading or delivering a large, complex programme or project is essential.

Legal and Compliance

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. There will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
