The job
We’re looking for an operations manager to support our growing team, taking ownership of key business functions. You'll have exposure to all aspects of running our business - from finance and recruitment to player support, office management, and more. This is the first dedicated ops role on the team, so you'll have a large impact on the business, shaping how we do things from scratch.
About you
- Exceptionally organised, proactive, and a strong communicator.
- Excited by the prospect of learning on the job and figuring things out.
- Passionate about games and energised by the chance to help build them.
- (Optional but desired) Prior operating experience in a growing start-up.
Things you could work on within your first two months
- Take over and improve finance management - accounts, invoicing, expense processes.
- Handle screening, scheduling, and coordination for interviews and new hire onboarding.
- Develop relationships with external partners - source vendors, negotiate terms, review legal clauses.
- Organise company social events and team-building initiatives.
- Plan ahead for office upgrades or potential relocation.
- Assume responsibility for player support - YouTuber program, inbound queries, hack client investigation.
- Anything and everything that needs handling! You are the go-to person for things that don’t fit neatly into any other role.
