Senior Associate / Partner – Family Matrimonial – Exeter

Salary: £80,000 to £130,000
This award winning Top 200 UK law firm, recognised for delivering high quality commercial and private client services across the South West, is seeking an experienced Family Matrimonial Senior Associate or Partner to join its successful and welcoming Family team in Exeter. The Role
You will take a leading role within the Family team, advising clients on a broad range of family law matters with a particular focus on complex and high value matrimonial finance. Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice on divorce, financial remedy, and prenuptial agreements
- Managing your own caseload independently while delivering exceptional client care
- Leading on complex financial remedy matters and offering strategic, pragmatic guidance
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers to foster a positive, collaborative team culture
- Engaging in business development, networking and relationship building across the region
- Working with marketing and leadership teams to raise the profile of the Family department
- Keeping up to date with evolving family law legislation and case law
- Collaborating with colleagues across Private Client, Property, Corporate and other departments
- Contributing to the strategic planning, growth and development of the Exeter Family team
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior family law specialist who is:
- Experienced in complex matrimonial finance and high value divorce matters
- Proactive, enthusiastic and confident in managing a busy caseload
- Skilled at building strong client relationships and delivering high quality service
- A supportive team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Interested in business development and raising the team’s profile
