Senior/ Engineer, Facilities Management (EHS/Fire Safety) – Healthcare

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Fire Safety functions to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
• Act as the appointed Fire Safety Manager and WSH Officer, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and fire drills to maintain a high standard of workplace safety and emergency preparedness
• Manage fire safety systems, licences, and certifications, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with authorities
• Oversee permit-to-work processes and ensure proper control of high-risk activities
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and stakeholders on all EHS and fire safety matters
• Develop and implement SOPs, risk assessments, and safety initiatives to enhance overall safety performance
• Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

What we’re looking for

• BachelorDegree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Facilities Management or related studies
• Certified and registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO), Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification
• 3 – 5 years of working experience in EHS/ facilities management/ environmental engineering
• Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and practices, with exposure to environmental engineering preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with good planning and organisational skills
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities across all levels
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while driving safety and compliance standards
