ROLE: Data Analyst

LOCATION: Fife, Scotland, KY11 2BL

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who will provide critical data, performance, and vetting support to help ensure key contractual requirements, performance reporting, and operational compliance are delivered effectively across the region.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date security vetting information in the company Vetting Database in line with policy and statutory requirements.
  • Advise contractors and staff of clearance statuses weekly and administer vetting processes for supply chain partners.
  • Conduct regular reviews of operative and staff records, preparing and issuing vetting status reports.
  • Produce, record, and issue contract identity cards and manage all related correspondence, including documentation to DIO Security.
  • Complete general administration duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and managing incoming/outgoing post, ensuring timely response to emails and calls.
  • Coordinate and support Establishment Managers within Scotland & Northern Ireland (S&NI) to achieve contractual KPIs.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain partners to support KPI delivery in relevant areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor operational performance each month with Site Teams, APs, Helpdesk, and Supply Chain to drive improvements in statutory, mandatory, and preventative maintenance compliance.
  • Support operational, built estate, and asset compliance through accurate guidance and data provision.
  • Maintain responsive communication with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Support the review, maintenance, and accuracy of estate and asset data in line with FDIS contract requirements.
  • Support and, where needed, lead CAFM reporting development and improvements.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Understanding of CAFM systems and FM reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and performance reporting in a facilities or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with MOD‑related data (desirable).

Skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • High‑level Excel and Power BI analytical capability.
  • Ability to analyse big data sets and develop insights to support operational decision‑making.

Experience

  • Experience working in demanding, data‑driven client environments.
  • Broad background in Works Management (TFM, PFI, or similar).
  • Experience using Excel/Power BI to produce operational reports, improve data quality, and support system development.
