  • Coordinate with design teams, project managers, site supervisors, and client engineers to maintain clear communication and alignment.
  • Ensure works comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and relevant project specifications.
  • Assist in managing quality assurance processes, including ITPs, surveys, inspections, and handover documentation.
  • Identify potential risks, interface issues, and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Contribute to progress reporting, construction planning, and programme updates.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer within rail, infrastructure, or civils environments.
  • Strong understanding of rail standards, safety protocols, and multi‑disciplinary site coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, solution‑focused approach.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a live construction setting.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
  • Experience working on London Underground or Network Rail projects is highly desirable.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Long‑term development opportunities within a business known for internal progression.
  • Exposure to a variety of rail and infrastructure projects across London.
  • Supportive, structured engineering teams with strong technical leadership.
  • The chance to contribute to meaningful upgrades and enhancements within the capital’s transport network.

If you’re a motivated Project Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge on London‑based rail projects, I’d welcome the opportunity to share more details
