Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Engineer

ROLE: Shift (M&E) TechnicianHOURS: 42 hours per week | Continental Shift PatternLOCATION: SE1 9SG

We’re looking for a Shift (M&E) Technician who will operate, maintain, and support critical mechanical and electrical systems within a high‑security, high‑performance data centre environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems.
• Diagnose faults and restore critical services quickly and safely.
• Monitor and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) to maintain optimal site performance.
• Supervise contractors and ensure all works comply with health & safety standards and permit‑to‑work processes.
• Support the operation of key systems including UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a commercial M&E environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of BMS, UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain high‑level security clearance.
• Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
