Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Lead) – Uxbridge – £54,000

Location: Uxbridge, West London

Salary: £54,000 per annum

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

About The Role

This is a brand-new opportunity for a lead or senior electrical maintenance engineer to oversee a small technical team, as part of a large commercial maintenance contract based in Uxbridge.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising a small technical team of mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance engineers.
• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and building services equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Fault-finding and remedial repairs on lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Work alongside mechanical and building services teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 (ideal)
• Proven experience in a commercial or critical building environment.
