Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a flagship GBP450 million residential development in Northwest London. This is a prestigious, large–scale project offering the opportunity to work within a high–performing delivery team on a technically complex build.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of mechanical packages from pre–construction through to installation and commissioning
• Work closely with the design, commercial, and site teams to ensure smooth project progression
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards
• Review and coordinate mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications
• Assist with procurement, technical submissions, and RFIs
• Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and project requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer on large–scale construction projects
• Strong PCSA (Pre–Construction Services Agreement) experience is essential
• Background in residential or mixed–use developments preferred
• Excellent understanding of mechanical building services systems
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment
