Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting for a Freight Forwarding Sales Executive role on behalf of a growing and well-established logistics business based in Basildon, Essex.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across freight forwarding services
- Identify, target and win new customers across sectors including retail, furniture, e commerce and manufacturing
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective clients
- Use tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn and CRM systems to support lead generation and outreach
- Book and attend face to face meetings with prospective customers
- Understand customer supply chains, challenges and requirements
- Present tailored freight solutions and strong value propositions
- Convert quotations into live business
- Negotiate rates, margins and commercial terms
- Build long term client relationships and encourage repeat business
- Work closely with pricing and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts
- Maintain a high level of service from the start of each client relationship
- Keep up to date with freight market trends, rates, BAF and industry disruption to support commercial positioning
