Data Scientist

Job Description

My client is looking for a data science take ownership of pricing analysis and model development, helping to drive data-led decisions and shape the future of their Home product.

The Role –

• Deliver high-quality pricing and data analysis with clear recommendations
• Support rating decisions and pricing strategy
• Translate complex data into commercial insights for stakeholders
• Balance technical rigour with speed and business impact
• Collaborate with data and MI teams to enhance reporting and analytics

The Candidate –

• Experience in personal lines pricing (Home insurance is desirable)
• Strong analytical skills with Python and/or SQL
• Understanding of statistical modelling / machine learning
• Commercial, proactive, and able to work at pace
• Degree in a numerate discipline (or equivalent experience)

Location – London or Liverpool

Salary – Up to £65,000
