A well‑established law firm in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Head of Litigation to lead and develop its litigation department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious litigation solicitor to step into a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a small but busy litigation team.
  • Hands‑on fee earning and team management.
  • Manage own caseload while supervising and supporting other members of the team.
  • Shape the future direction of the department.

Specialisation

The department specialises in Personal Injury, Contentious Probate, and Property Litigation.

Location & Working Conditions

Office‑based role requiring regular in‑person leadership and team management.

Compensation

Competitive salary dependent on experience, plus a 15% bonus on anything billed.

Qualifications

Litigation solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE looking to take the next step into a department leadership position within a supportive and well‑regarded firm.
