As a Field Services Engineer , you will play a key role in troubleshooting, installing, upgrading the hardware and software devices. You will be responsible for ensuring that everything works smoothly, engineering designs are properly followed, and a strong customer support is provided. Provide direct Face-to-Face world class end user support experience with an emphasis on quality resolutions. Set up and manage network printers. Recommend and/or perform upgrades on systems and Support VPN connections. Ticket work according to ITIL / Service now. Provide primary support to executive users and key stake holders. Ensure configuration and inventory management database entries are complete and accurate. Raise purchasing requirements and obtain quotes for hardware / software. Flexibility to travel as needed. Ready to work in 24*7 environment and remain rotational on-call during off hours/weekends. Ability to walk long distances across large facilities, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Excellent interpersonal skills to support both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels/training skills with a can do attitude. Experience troubleshooting/repairing desktop and laptop hardware in the field or in a related area. Understanding of basic networking concepts, VLAN / VoIP. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in project delivery and willingness to learn. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, File permissions, DHCP. Experience supporting at least some of the following technologies O365, MS Teams, OneDrive, Zoom, Antivirus software, BitLocker, SSO, password manager. Experience supporting Windows 10/11, MacOS, Android, iOS. Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals on site and remote – using such tools as Quick Assist and Remote Desktop Connection. A few years of clinical exposure (such as Hospital or Laboratory support or working for Healthcare / Medical domain in general. Any previous IT Service Desk Support. ITIL Foundation v3/4 understanding.
