Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive. We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities and strengthen referral relationships within the property sector. This role is focused on increasing conveyancing instructions through targeted relationship-building, strategic partnerships, and consistent market engagement.
You are expected to:
• Develop and implement a business development strategy to increase conveyancing referrals
• Build, manage, and grow relationships with key introducers, including:
• Estate agents
• Mortgage brokers
• Financial advisers
• Property developers and investors
• Identify and secure new referral partnerships to drive a consistent pipeline of work
• Maintain regular contact with referrers through meetings, calls, and events
• Represent at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings
• Collaborate closely with fee earners and internal teams to ensure excellent client service and retention
• Track and report on referral performance, conversion rates, and ROI
• Identify market trends and opportunities within the conveyancing sector
• Support marketing initiatives, including campaigns, social media engagement, and events
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in business development, ideally within:
• Conveyancing
• Legal services
• Property or real estate sector
• Strong existing network of property professionals (desirable)
• Demonstrable track record of generating referrals and increasing revenue
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded with a results-driven approach
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple relationships
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
