Security System Engineers

Location: UK Wide (Field-Based)

Salary: £37,000 – £50,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card

We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Security Systems Engineers to join a specialist engineering team delivering work across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and perimeter security systems.

These are UK-wide field-based roles supporting national contracts across a range of commercial and high-security environments.

We are hiring across multiple levels, with opportunities available for engineers focused on both installation and commissioning.

The Roles

We are looking for:

  • Installation Engineers (£37,000 – £41,000)
  • Focused on the installation of CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, and perimeter security systems, along with fault finding and general system support.
  • Commissioning Engineers (£45,000 – £50,000)
  • Focused on system commissioning, configuration, integration, and final handover of security systems across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, and support of electronic security systems
  • Fault diagnosis across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and perimeter systems
  • System testing, inspection, and handover activities
  • Completion of engineering reports, documentation, and asset records
  • Liaising with clients, project teams, and site stakeholders
  • Ensuring all work is delivered safely and to specification

Requirements

  • Experience in CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, or perimeter security systems
  • Strong electrical and fault-finding capability
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Good communication skills in client-facing environments
  • IT literacy for reporting, documentation, and system use

For senior-level roles:

  • Strong commissioning, configuration, and system integration experience
  • Ability to manage system handovers and client demonstrations
