About Teya

Teya is a payment and software service provider headquartered in London, serving small, local businesses across Europe. Founded in 2019, we build easy‑to‑use, integrated tools that enable our members to accept payments and boost business performance.

Our Mission

At Teya we believe small, local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. We’re here because we don’t believe there’s a level playing field that gives small businesses a fighting chance against the giants of the high street. We don’t think the best technology or service should be reserved for those with the biggest headquarters, and we’re committed to a future where small businesses can thrive.

Job Overview

We are looking for a People Programme Manager to help build and execute the systems that enable our organisation to scale. Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, this role will drive the execution of some of the company’s most important people initiatives, focusing on the rollout of people infrastructure that defines how Teya hires, ramps, manages performance, and rewards its commercial teams globally. This role is a programme execution role, not a traditional HR role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of strategic people programmes: Own the planning and execution of major people initiatives across the organisation, ensuring they are delivered with clear timelines, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and operationalise the People Machine: Support the design and rollout of frameworks that define how Teya hires, ramps, manages performance, and rewards its commercial teams across markets.
  • Translate strategy into structured execution: Work with senior leadership to turn strategic priorities into clear programme plans, workstreams, and deliverables.
  • Drive programme governance and delivery discipline: Establish programme plans, track progress across initiatives, manage dependencies, and ensure programmes are delivered on time.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution: Work closely with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and commercial leadership to align stakeholders and drive programme execution.
  • Develop scalable processes and operating frameworks: Design tools, templates, and processes that create consistency in how people programmes are implemented across markets.
  • Track programme outcomes and performance: Monitor key metrics and programme outcomes to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business impact.
  • Support leadership decision‑making: Prepare materials, analysis, and programme updates to support leadership discussions and decision‑making.

Experience & Requirements

  • Typical backgrounds include management consulting, programme management in high‑growth companies, business operations, or strategy roles.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross‑functional initiatives from planning through to execution.
  • Strong programme and project management capability, with the ability to structure workstreams, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience translating strategic priorities into operational programmes and scalable processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on organisational, people, or operational initiatives in high‑growth environments is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work 4 days per week in our London HQ based in Blackfriars, with occasional travel across Europe.

The Perks

  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1‑to‑1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps.
  • Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices.
  • Cycle‑to‑Work scheme.
  • Health and life insurance.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 25 days of annual leave (+ bank holidays).
  • Office snacks every day.
  • Friendly, comfortable and informal office environment in Central London.

Equal Opportunity

Teya is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background, can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.

If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process—whether for interviews, assessments, or other parts of the application—we encourage you to let us know. We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has a fair and accessible experience with us.
