We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.
About the Role
The Junior Business Analyst will support delivery of the Student Record Systems project contributing to the successful delivery of a modern, integrated Student Record System that underpins the University’s core academic and administrative processes.
Working across two defined capability areas, with time split approximately equally between them, you will work closely with two Capability Workstream Leads to support the analysis, design, and implementation of new ways of working enabled by the system. The role will focus on understanding current operational processes, supporting the design of future-state processes, and helping to ensure that business requirements are clearly articulated, validated, and translated into effective system configuration and testing.
You will support the identification and management of business change impacts, contribute to programme governance and assurance activities, and help ensure that solutions are implemented in a way that is sustainable, compliant, and aligned to the wider student lifecycle. Through close engagement with academic and professional services colleagues, the role will help bridge the gap between operational teams and technical delivery, ensuring that user needs are understood and reflected throughout the programme lifecycle.
The role will also contribute to building organisational capability by supporting knowledge transfer, high-quality documentation, and consistent application of business analysis standards across the programme, helping to lay foundations for future system enhancements and continuous improvement.
As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.
