What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure that financial targets as set by the Company are achieved through planned sales and marketing activity.
- Manage bookings and events to maximise sales, occupancy, rate and profit. Manage seasonal peaks and business trends to ensure the best yield in Meetings & Events is achieved.
- To be responsible for the overall running of the Sales Office, ensuring an efficient and effective operation.
- Take responsibility for the Sales Team, encouraging their development via training and role-modelling the appropriate behaviours required.
- The role will also include some field sales as required for both Mosborough Hall and other properties within the group.
- The role will be based predominantly onsite at Mosborough Hall Hotel.
What We’re Looking For:
- A driven Manager with a proven track record in achieving set financial targets and proactive sales.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- A Team player and motivator
- A candidate who is motivated through over achievement and utilizes creativity to achieve results, with the ability to demonstrate a flexible approach.
- The ability to use all relevant Microsoft software programmes including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
