A leading electronics manufacturer in Colchester is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System, driving compliance to ISO9001, and acting as a technical point of contact for customers.
This role suits someone who is confident, collaborative, and comfortable working across engineering, production, and customer teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
– Leading quality activities across the manufacturing process for electronic products
– Managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s QMS
– Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and supporting audits
– Acting as a customer‑facing quality representative, handling queries and driving resolution
– Supporting root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
-Working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and reliability
What You’ll Bring
– Strong experience in electronics manufacturing
– Proven background in quality engineering at a senior or lead level
– Hands‑on experience with ISO9001 and QMS ownership
– Confident communicator with the ability to work directly with customers
– Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, problem‑solving tools, and quality methodologies
