Our client, a well-established print company based in Stevenage, is seeking a motivated Machine Operative to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff.

About the Role
As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery within the print department, ensuring high-quality output and meeting daily production targets. This position would also suit someone who has worked as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Manufacturing Operative looking to develop their skills within a reputable print company.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor machinery in a print production environment
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with other Machine Operatives and production staff
Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Machine Operative, Machine Operator, Production Operative, or Print Machine Operative
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in a print company or printing environment (desirable but not essential)
Familiarity with print production machinery or experience as a Print Production Assistant
