Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading firm in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing tooling and fixtures using HyperMILL CAD/CAM packages
• Programming, setting up, and operating multiaxis CNC machines,
• Ensuring the precision and accuracy of tooling for various manufacturing projects
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise tooling designs and processes
• Conducting troubleshooting and maintenance of tooling and CNC machinery
• Providing technical support and training to colleagues as required
• Maintaining documentation and records of tooling designs and modifications
• Adhering to health and safety standards and quality control procedures

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of HyperMILL CAD/CAM packages
• Experience in multiaxis CNC operation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
