The RoleWe are currently seeking a creative and committed Art & Design Technology Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Peterborough. This role is available immediately and will run through to December 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through engaging and practical lessons in both Art and Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art and Design Technology
Foster creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
Maintain a safe, organised, and engaging classroom/workshop environment
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at secondary level
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for creative subjects and student engagement
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
