CareerMakers Recruitmentare working with a well-established manufacturing business in Accrington who are looking to appoint an experiencedSupply Chain Coordinator with strong export licensing knowledgeto support their busy team.

This is a key role within the business, with significant responsibility for export compliance and international order processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution
  • Manage material requirements planning (MRP) usingSPIREandLITEsystems to ensure timely availability of components and raw materials
  • Monitor and maintain accurate data within SPIRE and LITE, including purchase orders, stock levels, and supplier information
  • Liaise with internal departments (engineering, production, quality, and logistics) to align supply chain activities with project timelines
  • Raise, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from approved suppliers
  • Analyse supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation
  • Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and obsolescence management
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and reports using SPIRE and LITE
  • Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, customs documentation, and delivery scheduling
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, particularly in relation to critical or long-lead-time components
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure materials meet required specifications
  • Assist in demand forecasting and production planning to support business objectives and customer requirements
  • Provide support during audits by ensuring all supply chain data in SPIRE and LITE is accurate and up to date

About You

We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of export compliance responsibilities.

You will have:

  • Proven experience working as a Supply Chain Coordinator (or similar role)
  • Hands-on experience usingSPIREandLITEsystems is essential
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain processes
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supplier coordination

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 7am – 4pm

Friday, 7am – 12pm

Pay rate:Negotiable DOE
