Service Manager – Supported LivingLocation: SwindonSalary: £34,000 per annumHours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Service Manager to oversee a group of supported living services in Swindon. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs to live independently and achieve meaningful, fulfilling lives in their own homes. Working alongside the Registered Manager (and senior operational support where applicable), you will be responsible for managing commissioned support hours, leading staff teams, and ensuring services consistently meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and quality and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of person-centred support, ensuring individuals’ needs and goals are prioritisedManage, supervise and develop Support Workers, including recruitment, training and performance reviewsCreate and review care and support plans to ensure they reflect individual needsEnsure services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with regulatory standardsMaintain compliance with CQC requirements and organisational policiesBuild positive working relationships with families, professionals and external partnersManage safeguarding concerns, incidents and risk appropriatelyPromote safe working practices and ensure health & safety complianceSupport quality monitoring, audits, inspections and service improvementsRespond appropriately to service needs and operational challengesParticipate in the rota, including occasional sleep-in shifts where requiredProvide hands-on support when needed and role model best practice

Candidate Requirements:Experience working within supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autismStrong leadership, organisational and communication skillsCare Certificate and relevant mandatory trainingGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Desirable:Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Previous supervisory or management experience within adult social careKnowledge or training in Positive Behaviour Support, Active Support, PBM, Makaton or BSL
