Deputy Children’s Home ManagerLocation: Newport Staffordshire Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager to join a dedicated residential care team supporting children and young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking to progress within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, child-centred care
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with staff supervision, development, and performance management
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements:
- Experience working in children’s residential care
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum)
- Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
