We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our sheet metal manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, practical role where you’ll support various stages of the production process, including handling metal parts, operating machinery, and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Full training will be provided, and there are opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
- Operate machinery and tools safely.
- Assist with general assembly and production work.
- Use a range of hand and power tools such as drills, sanders, and grinders.
- Supporting general factory operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Comfortable with practical, hands-on work in a workshop environment.
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills within the sheet metal industry.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:30 – 13:00
