FLT warehouse operative/Cover Transport co ordinator

A new job opportunity has arisen for our client based in Burnleyfor a FLT Warehouse operative/Cover Transport controller.

Working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (42.5 hours per week)

On a day to day basis you will form part of the warehouse team where you will be Picking and packing, loading and unloading both raw material & end products in line with customer requirements.

In addition, you will assist the transport office, providing cover, which will involve, transport planning, driver scheduling & vehicle despatch.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a current/in date ReachFLT or PPT & have previous working experience.
• Able to complete manual lifting & using FLT as part of their daily duties.
• Have excellent numeracy& Literacy as part of the picking/packing process.
• Ideally have some exposure to transport/logistics processes on computers. (not essential)
• Have excellent IT skills & able to use a computer.
• Able to work the mentioned hours as part of a shift rotation.
