Senior Employer’s Agent / Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hybrid – North West England Office Base: Liverpool (L3) Salary: 55,000 – 60,000
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Employer’s Agent / Quantity Surveyor to join a growing consultancy team in the North West. This is a permanent position offering the chance to lead and manage multiple affordable housing developments across the North West and West Yorkshire.
You will operate with a high degree of independence, reporting directly to Associates and Directors, while playing a key role in project delivery and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as Employer’s Agent on residential and affordable housing schemes
- Administering JCT Design and Build contracts
- Preparing and managing cash flow forecasts
- Carrying out risk assessments and advising on mitigation strategies
- Analysing tenders and producing detailed reports
- Managing projects from inception through to completion
- Supporting practice management activities where required
Essential Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying
- Proven experience acting as Employer’s Agent on affordable housing or private residential developments
- Experience working with Registered Social Landlords (RSLs)
- Strong knowledge of JCT Design and Build contracts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
