Construction Quality Manager (HRB):

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading Tier 1 contractor and are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Manager (HRB) to join their team on a major high-rise residential development in South London, following the successful delivery of Phase 1 and progression into Phase 2.
This is a key leadership role focused on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and digital documentation control across a complex High-Risk Residential Building (HRB) project.
The Role:
As Construction Quality Manager, you will take ownership of all quality processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with the latest Building Safety regulations. You will play a critical role in managing Gateway 3 requirements and maintaining the Golden Thread of Information, ensuring all works are fully traceable, evidenced, and compliant ahead of handover.
You will also provide a coordinated approach to quality and health & safety inspections, ensuring alignment across all site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project-wide quality assurance and compliance strategy on HRB projects
- Oversee inspection & test plans, ensuring robust QA processes are implemented
- Manage digital QA systems (e.g. Fieldview) to ensure accurate record keeping
- Ensure compliance with Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Gateway 3 requirements
- Maintain the Golden Thread of Information throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee handover documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance
- Support health & safety inspections in alignment with quality standards
- Conduct audits, reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and coordinate QA across a large and complex supply chain
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a Tier 1 main contractor
- Strong background working on high-rise residential / HRB projects
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act, BSR Gateway process, and Golden Thread
- Experience using digital QA systems such as Fieldview
- Strong understanding of:
- WIRs, MIRs, ITPs / ITAPs
- QA inspection regimes
- Compliance and audit processes
