Architectural Technologist

Our client a well-established and forward-thinking architecture practice based in Durham is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist with strong Revit capability to support its expanding project portfolio.

The role will suit a technically driven professional who is CIAT-accredited (or working towards MCIAT) and confident in delivering high-quality technical information within a BIM-led environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed technical drawings and construction information using Revit.
• Developing and managing BIM models in line with project and practice standards.
• Coordinating consultant information and resolving technical design issues.
• Supporting projects through planning, building regulations, and construction stages.
• Assisting with technical quality control and best practice across projects.
• Collaborating closely with architects, technologists, and project teams.

Key requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of Revit (essential).
• CIAT-accredited or working towards MCIAT.
• Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction detailing.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
