Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-run business in the search for an experienced Depot Manager.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 35 staff, including Managers and Supervisors, while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day depot operations to maximise productivity, reporting directly to the Operations/Commercial Director* Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and health & safety standards* Lead and support key functions, including the MRF Supervisor, EQHS Manager, and Transport Manager* Collaborate closely with Sales and Administration teams to ensure smooth business operations* Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain an excellent safety record* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a senior management role* Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills* NEBOSH and COTC Level 4 (WAMITAB) qualifications desirable, or willingness to achieve within 6 months* IT literate with excellent communication skills
