Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Somerset Salary: 35,000 – 40,000 + Benefits

The RoleYou will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial gas and heating systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairs, and installation of commercial gas systems
• Carrying out plumbing and heating maintenance duties
• Issuing gas safety certificates and compliance documentation
• Ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines
• Updating service and testing records
• Ordering materials through approved systems
• Participating in an on-call rota for emergency cover
• Maintaining company vehicle standards
• Liaising with supervisors and coordinators
• Keeping accurate records of completed work

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Commercial Gas Engineer (relevant certifications required)
• Experience within commercial environments
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable: Experience with renewable systems (e.g. air/ground source heat pumps)
