The Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries while proactively generating your own opportunities. Managing the full project lifecycle, from quotation through to delivery, you’ll build strong client relationships and provide technical guidance throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and produce accurate quotations and tender packages
  • Manage and qualify leads through Salesforce CRM
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, prioritising face-to-face meetings
  • Collaborate with CAD, Engineering, and Fabrication teams on live projects
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have experience reading technical drawings and producing tender packages, with a background in construction, rail, marine, power, or utilities advantageous. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam is desirable. You’ll be commercially driven, a confident communicator, and calm under pressure.
