An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ESR Learning Management Systems Administrator to join our friendly and efficient Learning Management Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, team player to join our workforce.

Ideally, you should have experience in the use of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) providing advice and transactional services to employees and managers. You should have excellent computer skills including Excel and Word and it is essential that you can adapt to the changing requirements of the ESR system that result from Department of Health and Trust initiatives.

Main duties

  • The post holder will support the Electronic Staff Record Learning Management System (ESRLMS).
  • Lead in ensuring the smooth day to day operation of administration processes and supporting a wide range of projects.
  • The postholder will be responsible for maintaining accurate statutory, mandatory and role essential training records within the Trust’s ESRLMS and generating a wide range of training reports.
  • The post holder will provide support to staff with system issues and support with maintaining intranet pages.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Training – Essential

  • Good general education to GCSE level or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Evidence of training/development

Experience – Essential

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment and dealing with multiple priorities
  • Experience working with complex databases
  • Experience of working as part of an administrative team in a customer facing environment

Knowledge and Skills – Essential

  • High standard of communication and interpersonal skills requiring tact and sensitivity and recognising barriers to understanding with all stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
