We are hiring a Principal Engineer to drive the transformation of enterprise platforms from vendor-heavy setups to modern, cloud-native and DevSecOps-driven environments.

This is a high-impact role focused on building engineering capability, reducing reliance on third-party tools, and introducing scalable, open-source solutions within a digital banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation of legacy platforms into cloud-native, automated solutions
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and open-source technologies
• Define architecture and make key technical decisions
• Mentor and upskill teams towards modern engineering practices
• Reduce dependency on vendor-based tools and introduce sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, automation, CI/CD)
• Experience in Digital Banking (Online / Mobile / Open Banking)
• Proven experience in platform transformation / modernization initiatives
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and DevSecOps practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with containers / Kubernetes
• Exposure to open-source technologies and tools
• Strong background in enterprise-scale environments

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years’ experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Engineering Leadership
• Proven track record of driving transformation in large organizations
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Comfortable balancing strategy + hands-on technical work
