RD&T Software Engineer

Overview

Are you a RD&T Software Engineer? Do you have experience working directly with RD&T technology? Are you confident developing software tools for tolerance analysis, variation simulation, and robust design?

Contract: OUTSIDE IR35

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Days) • Location: Leamington Spa

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software tools for tolerance analysis, variation simulation, and robust design, enabling engineers to evaluate product performance under real-world variability.
• Implement statistical models and algorithms (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, Design of Experiments) to analyse variation, predict risk, and support data-driven design decisions.
• Integrate RD&T solutions with CAD and PLM systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality engineering to translate requirements into scalable and user-friendly software solutions.
• Create data visualisations and reporting tools to communicate analysis results, highlight key risks, and support robust design practices across the product lifecycle.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience working with RD&T Technology
• Manufacturing environment experience (Automotive is advantageous)
