Your role as a Hospice Nurse At the heart of our patient-centred approach is a simple belief that every moment counts. As a Hospice Nurse, youll lead by example in delivering high-quality, holistic care within our welcoming inpatient unit. Youll provide vital support not just to patients, but to families and colleagues helping to create an environment of trust, peace, and compassion and work in a close-knit team where kindness, empathy, and clinical expertise truly matter. This Hospice Nurse role is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and is commutable from areas including Ripon, Leeds and York.
Responsibilities
- Develop tailored care plans, administer medication and manage symptoms to ensure comfort
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and manage patient admissions and discharges
- Lead by example in delivering high-quality, holistic care within the inpatient unit
- Provide emotional support for patients and families, offering compassionate care
